Why This Project?

The Need

Bodoland Territorial Council athletes lack access to sports science services. Injuries go untreated, nutrition is unscientific, training methods are outdated, and there is no performance analytics capability. Athletes must travel to distant cities for sports medicine.

The Intervention

The Bodoland Sports Science & Youth Performance Centre will be a first-of-its-kind facility in Bodoland Territorial Council providing sports science services including fitness assessment, sports medicine, nutrition counselling, biomechanics analysis, performance analytics and injury rehabilitation.

The Impact

Performance data analysis. Injury statistics. Athlete career tracking.

Key Objectives

  • Establish a sports science centre in Kokrajhar
  • Provide services to 3,000+ athletes annually
  • Reduce sports injuries by 30%
  • Improve athlete performance metrics by 20%
  • Train 50+ coaches in sports science

Sports science capability in Bodoland Territorial Council
Improved athlete performance and longevity
